Telling the Baltic is a collaborative story-telling project. The Baltic Sea has many stories to tell. Stories sought from fishermen, lighthouse-keepers, ship mechanics, ferry personnel, sailors islanders and dockers have been gathered in a public cross-border archive, and form the raw materials for artists who use them as inspiration in their work. Here Torun Ekstrand and Agnieszka Wolodzko talks about the making of the exhibition in Gdansk work for Telling the Baltic and how the project started..
Torun and Agnieszka talks with Nicola Mullenger from the European Cultural Foundation who partly funded the project in 2012.
