Ever since we watched Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" in 2010, I just knew one day we would want to dress up like the Queen of Hearts! We used Helena Bonham Carter's red queen character as the inspiration.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create and use hair padding with products you can find at your local beauty supply store. Then by following our rolling and twist technique, you can get this fun Halloween updo, too!

We found this beautiful Queen of Hearts costume/dress, among others, from the amazing Ella Dynae { http://www.etsy.com/shop/EllaDynae}

To see your own photo recreations of this style featured in our app, feel free to tag your photos on IG with: #CGHQueenOfHearts

Rylan was immediately who I thought of when deciding which of my girls to use for this tutorial. She really plays the character well, as you can tell from the intro shots!

Please be sure to give this video a BIG "👍🏻" if you loved it, and leave a comment below telling us which #CGHSpooktorials tutorial has been your favorite so far, and what new ones would you love to see?
